Getting in
For Indian passports
Indian passport holders travel to Thailand visa-free, under the exemption Thailand extended to India in November 2024. It allows a stay of up to 60 days for tourism, granted at the border rather than arranged in advance.
Thailand has moved this position more than once — visa on arrival, then a waiver, then the current exemption — so we confirm what applies to your nationality and your dates in writing when we quote, rather than printing a rule here that may already have moved.
You will also need to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card online in the days before you fly. Your passport needs six months of validity, and immigration may ask for a return ticket and a hotel booking — keep both on your phone.
Nothing flies from India to Krabi non-stop. Everybody connects, almost always through Bangkok — roughly four hours to Bangkok, then an hour and twenty on. Flying into Phuket and driving the three hours is the other honest option, and is sometimes cheaper.
