Day by day

What happens, and when

  1. Day 1 Land, then dinner on the river Private transfer from Suvarnabhumi
    • Arrival and check-in Met inside the terminal at Gate 3 with a name card and driven to the hotel. The driver waits up to two hours from landing, so a delayed flight is not a problem.
    • Chao Phraya Princess dinner cruise Picked up from the hotel around half past five. Two hours on the river with an Indian buffet — vegetarian and non-vegetarian — a welcome drink and a live band. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun are both lit from the water, and that is the view you came for.

    Night in Bangkok.

  2. Day 2 Safari World and Marine Park Seat-in-coach, out and back
    • Safari Park Driven through the open zoo, where the lions, tigers and rhinos are on the outside of the vehicle rather than behind glass.
    • Marine Park The dolphin show and the orangutan boxing, which is exactly as odd as it sounds and reliably the thing children talk about afterwards. Buffet lunch inside the park is included.

    Night in Bangkok.

  3. Day 3 The Ancient City and the Erawan Museum Seat-in-coach, roughly eight to five
    • Erawan Museum A three-headed elephant in bronze, forty-three metres of it, with a museum inside the plinth. Worth going in rather than photographing from the road.
    • Muang Boran, the Ancient City An open-air park the shape of Thailand, with the country's landmarks rebuilt across it at something close to full size. It takes hours and it is the most underrated thing in Bangkok. Lunch is included.

    Night in Bangkok.

  4. Day 4 Bangkok to the airport Private transfer
    • Breakfast, check out, and the transfer Be in the lobby ten minutes before the pickup. Allow three hours at Suvarnabhumi for an international departure.

Small print

Before you book

What is private and what is shared

Both airport transfers are private. All three tours are seat-in-coach — you share the vehicle and there is a pickup window rather than a pickup time, so be in the lobby fifteen minutes early. Private versions of any of them cost more; ask and we will quote.

The booking window

These are promotional rates and the supplier has set them for travel completed by 29 September 2026. Dates beyond that are quoted separately.

Vehicle sizes

A sedan takes two people and two bags, an SUV four and four, a ten-seat van ten people and nine bags. Larger parties are split across vehicles.

Rooms and timings

Check-in is 2pm and check-out noon. Room type is confirmed at booking; tell us about bedding or an occasion then rather than at the desk.

Rather talk it through first?

Book above if you are ready. If you would rather check something first — a different date, an extra night, a hotel you had in mind — tell us and we will put the exact price in writing before you pay anything.
